NSA - Enclosed Space Entry and Rescue
The course is intended for Deck and Engine Cadets. It deals with the essential safety aspects and risk factors associated with enclosed spaces from regulations, dangers and hazards, procedures, and emergency when entering and working in enclosed or confined spaces onboard ship.
COURSE AIMS / OBJECTIVES
The course aims to provide knowledge and practical understanding of the safety practices and proper procedures when entering and working in enclosed spaces onboard ship including rescue operation in the event of emergency.

The course deals with the following subject & training areas:
- Introduction: Definition and Characteristics of Enclosed Space
- Applicable Regulations and Standards
- Dangers and Hazards Associated with Enclosed Spaces
- Safe Management for Entering Enclosed Spaces

The course is open to deck and engine cadets of the NSA Cadet Program.
