We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the newly refurbished FRAMO laboratory at the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS). This milestone was achieved through the incredible support of our partners. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by His Excellency Ambassador Christian Halaas Lyster, along with OdFjell Vice President Svend Foyn-Bruun, and AIMS representative Dr. Lamberto Mindanao.

Key contributors to this achievement were Odfjell, AIMS partners led by Dr. Lamberto Mindanao and Ms. Joy Garner, and the diligent NTC team led by Chief Engineer Jose Fugoso and Engineer Charlene Briones. The inspiration from Odfjell and everyone’s collective effort has set a new standard in maritime training facilities.

This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with top-notch tools designed to enhance the training of seafarers, particularly those from chemical and product tanker companies. It promises significant advancements for the maritime industry, including job creation and economic development, serving as a catalyst for growth and prosperity within the community. This initiative exemplifies the power of collaboration and a shared commitment to empowering individuals and fostering community development.

We are immensely proud to be part of this groundbreaking initiative and eagerly anticipate the positive changes it will bring. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this vision a reality. Here’s to new beginnings and continued innovation!
