Electro-Technical Officer Program
With the new STCW training and certification requirements for Electro-Technical Officer (ETO), NTC-M has designed the Electro-Technical Officer Cadet Training Program to address the growing demands for competent ETOs onboard. The conduct of this program through a comprehensive and systematic institutional training and sea service experience shall enable qualified candidates to comply with the competencies for ETO specified in the Section A-III/6 of the STCW Code, and consequently enable them to obtain Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Electro-Technical Officers in compliance with the requirements of Regulation III/6 of STCW convention as amended in 2010.
The program runs over a period of five (5) months covering the following clusters:
- Marine Engineering Systems
- Electrical and Electronic Systems
- Automation and Control Technology
- Ancillary Proficiencies
