NMFPI REACHING OUT TO NEIGHBORS IN TAGUIG

Since the onset of the calamity brought about by the typhoon ONDOY, the employees of NMFPI have gathered used clothing intended for the victims of the municipality of Taguig. 

Last 20th of October 2009, the employees in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Taguig Chapter have distributed family packs of clothing to 54 families of Bgy. Banay who were sheltered at Camp Bagong Diwa; and 44 families from Bgy. Bagumbayan at the Cayetano Sports Complex.

The simple offerings from the employees may not be expensive and might have been items that were neglected in the closets, have given smiles in the faces of the victims who were residing nearby the waters of Laguna Bay.  NMFPI will continue receiving donations for other victims in other provinces.
