NMFPI's CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

In the event of the disastrous storm “ONDOY”, the Management of the Norwegian Maritime Foundation of the Phils. Inc. (NMFPI) extended a donation worth USD 5,000.00 to the Philippine National Red Cross to aid the victims in the neighboring towns of Taguig City, wherein NMFPI is located, and other towns affected by the storm.

Aside from this donation, the Management was indeed positively surprised by the employees desire to help, and decided thru a votation, that they will forego of the traditional “once a year reunion” of the employees’ families and Christmas Party.  The budget allocated for the company Christmas Party will be donated for the victims as well.

Until time of writing, the Administration Department have been receiving from the employees donation of clothings for the victims, and intends to donate these collections to alleviate the present condition of thousands of families affected by the storm.
